What is Safe Routes to School?
Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Florida is a statewide initiative dedicated to making it safer, easier, and more enjoyable for children to walk or bike to school. By fostering partnerships among schools, local governments, and community organizations, SRTS Florida promotes active transportation options that enhance health, reduce traffic congestion, and improves conditions for students to walk, bike, or roll to school.
