Purpose
The Solid Waste Division of the City of Sarasota Department of Public Works plans, develops and implements solid waste collection and recycling programs to protect the public health and environment for our citizens and visitors to the community. Recycling is mandatory in the City of Sarasota for residents and businesses - view the ordinance here.
