A new modern roundabout at the intersection of Ringling Blvd and Pine Place. This intersection reconstruction project marks the end of a string of roundabouts stretching west to Palm Ave. Additional Features installed during the reconstruction of the intersection included:
- Newer, safer access to the post office parking area.
- Removal of unsightly span wire and signal lights
- Landscaped center island of the roundabout and the four adjacent corners.
- Enhanced irrigation and storm water drainage facilities.
- New and replacement light poles.
- Paver brick crosswalks at the four legs of the roundabout, truck apron, and island approaches.
- In-road warning lights controlled by automatic activation bollards at the crosswalks.
- New Breeze Transit bus stop & transit shelter with dedicated bus lane
- Milling & Resurfacing of all intersection approaches
- Striping and markings matching the bicycle and pedestrian enhancements to the Ringling Trail
