Sarasota, FL: City administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
Residential garbage, recycling and yard waste collection and commercial garbage collection schedules will be unaffected during the holiday week.
Hours of operation at recreation and cultural arts facilities will vary:
- Lido Pool, 400 Benjamin Franklin Drive, remains closed until further notice.
The annual Veterans Day parade has been canceled by organizers from the Sarasota Patriotic Observance Committee due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing public health concerns.
City offices will again be open to the public Nov. 12 on a by-appointment basis only. City business can also be conducted either online via www.SarasotaFL.gov or by phone at 941-263-6000. More information about COVID-19 closures is available at SarasotaFL.gov/COVID-19.
