The Art in the Roundabouts program celebrates the installation of landmark sculptures within several traffic roundabouts in Sarasota, which are complete or in progress. The City has installed or is currently planning for artwork in the following roundabouts:

  • Main Street and Orange Avenue (2016)
  • Orange Avenue and Ringling Avenue (2018)
  • Palm Avenue and Cocoanut Avenue (2019)
  • 14th Street and U.S. 41 (2025)
  • 10th Street and U.S. 41 (artwork in progress)
  • Fruitville Road and U.S. 41 (public art discussion in progress)
  • Gulfstream Avenue and U.S. 41 (public art discussion in progress)

Artwork is made possible by the City of Sarasota Public Art ordinance, which obtains one-half of one percent (0.5%) of construction funds for new construction city-wide. For more information, view the public art ordinance by clicking here.
