Sarasota, FL: Tuesday’s trash, recycling and yard waste pickups for City of Sarasota customers have been rescheduled to Saturday.
All pickups scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, have been canceled due to the impending threat of Tropical Storm Elsa. Residents should bring in and secure any collection bins, yard waste, outdoor furniture or any other loose items that could clog storm drains or become dangerous projectiles during a storm.
Regular trash collection schedules are expected to resume Wednesday and continue throughout the week, with Tuesday’s items collected on Saturday, July 10.
